          A rthur is described as blond and is the symbol of a figure of light, of the shining, unconcerned hero. He’s also blue-eyed in both senses of the word because he often seems to be the "pure fool" unsuspecting for a long time of the love between his best friend and his wife, later even tolerating it, friendly and honest to everyone.
           T hough he has been united in the old way with the land in the "Holy Marriage" and armed by the Lady of the Lake with the holy sword, lateron under the influence of Guinevra he betrays Avalon and turnes to the new Christian religion. He is to be starting- point and symbol for the Christian chivalry, which started on his Round Table and which should stay a spiritual ideal for long years to come.
