Die Geschichte entwickelt sich aus den leidenschaftlichen Beziehungen zwischen den vier Hauptcharakteren - zwei Männern und zwei Frauen, die jeder für sich einen besonderen Typ symbolisieren.
         T he book "The mists of Avalon" tells us the story of ancient Avalon, of king Arthur and the holy grail not in the dry words of a scolarly book but as a masterpiece of fantasy fiction. The story unfolds from the passionate relationships between its four main characters - two men and two women, each of them a specific type.
