as Buch "Die Nebel von Avalon" wurde von Marion Zimmer Bradley im Jahre 1982 im Verlag A. Knopf (New York) herausgegeben. Die deutsche Übersetzung von Manfred Ohl und Hans Sartorius erschien 1983 im S.Fischer Verlag (Frankfurt)
Es erzählt die Artussaga aus der Sicht von Artus Halbschwester, Morgana (auch Morgana die Fee genannt) und gibt uns dabei einen wundervollen Einblick in das Lebensgefühl und die religiösen Überzeugungen jener Tage.
Ich besitze beide Bücher und wenn ich später aus ihnen zitiere, dann werden es in diesem Falle nicht meine Übersetzungen sein, sondern die Originaltexte.

he book "The mists of Avalon" was written by Marion Zimmer Bradley in 1982 and printed by A.Knopf (New York). The german translation by Manfred Ohl und Hans Sartorius came out in 1983 by S.Fischer Verlag (Frankfurt)
It tells us about the life of the legendary king Artus as seen by his half- sister Morgaine (also known as Morgan le Fay) and gives a wonderfull insight into the feeling and religious beliefs of those days.
I have both books and when I type out some texts later on, these will not be my translations but the original words of the books.

ach dem großen Erfolg ihres ersten Bandes schrieb Mrs. Bradley noch zwei weitere, die - obwohl später erschienen - zeitlich vor diesem liegen, so daß die Trilogie den gesamten Zeitraum vom ersten Jahrhundert nach Christus bis zu den Tagen von König Artus umfaßt.

fter the big success of her first book Mrs. Bradley wrote two more. Those are written later but are set much earlier in time so that the trilogie covers a period from the first century after Christ to Arthurian times.
